For those of you too terrified to step outside wearing white in winter, even nightmare-inducing white jeans, I'm here to tell you--DO IT. Yes, it's perfectly chic and 100% acceptable, I (and all of us here at Feldspar Brook) assure you. Gone are the days of padlocking your whites away in cedar for the long haul of painful winter. In modern times, adorning the stark, fresh hue is the perfect and inspired way to freshen up your cold, dark palette. Trust me, for a true southern gal such as myself, I most certainly had to ease into this old faux pas but am so happy I did. Banning white from our wardrobes after Labor Day was a rather silly rule anyway, wouldn't you agree? The
freezing seasons could use a little clean saturation to the gray skies and bleak-brown landscapes that surrounds us. A thick, solid pair of white jeans layers beautifully with a soft, oversized sweater and cashmere scarf under a tan woolen coat, completed with suede sneakers. Try it for a weekend look or for a leisurely lunch with friends. Your peers are bound to appreciate your advanced inspiration and fresh style.
