We've expressed our admiration for Horse brand Co. many times, so why stop now? They're always doing and producing cool stuff with superior quality in their Brooklyn-based Horse Warehouse, so really, what's not to love. The creators behind the brand invest their keen interests in all things that relate to cycling, surfing, camping and pretty much anything stellar that takes place primarily outdoors. A number of weeks ago, a gorgeous handmade camping knife carved from wood scraps of the Coney Island Boardwalk--destroyed after the devastation of Hurricane Sandy--caught our attention. Today, it's a tasty set of wheels that tickles our fancy.
The URBAN ASSAULT / CARBON FORK (ENVE) is a beauty. Like almost everything Horse brand offers, this bicycle is also built in their Brooklyn Warehouse with a 3-4 week lead time, and all of the parts are sourced right here in the glorious USofA. Pure physical attraction aside, what's great about the URBAN ASSAULT is the bike's flexible usage. She can be used and abused navigating the means streets of NYC or taken for more serious, cross-country spins. From trips to the Farmers Market on weekends or commuting over the Queensboro Bridge during the week, whatever the course or reason, you'll be riding in style. Extra cool points with the Horse-name stamp of approval. Just don't forget to wear a helmet.
